Sandbox environment | Rial API

If the Rial team set up a sandbox for you, build against it first. It is a separate copy of Rial: its own dashboard, its own API keys and its own data. Nothing you do there reaches production.

Keys

Log in to the sandbox dashboard and create a key in Settings → API. A sandbox key only works on sandbox.api.rial.io, and a production key only on api.rial.io.

Point your code at it

Same endpoints, same payloads. Change the base URL and the key.

Going live

Create a key in the production dashboard, swap it in and drop the base URL (the SDK defaults to https://api.rial.io). Templates and databases don’t carry over: create them again in production. No sandbox yet? Write to developers@rial.io.
